In January of 2015, I quit smoking and consulted Anna about improving my health. I consider myself in pretty good condition for my age and am active everyday.

I had two goals when starting with Anna as my health coach. The first was to reset my cellular health after a holiday season of a few not so healthy indulgences. The second was to improve/maintain healthy function of my digestive tract because it is responsible for greater than 70% of immune function.

 

One way I was able to reach these goals was by addressing a Candida yeast issue in my digestive tract. Anna helped me identify this issue through discussing my digestive patterns and my history of being unnecessarily prescribed tetracycline and Accutane multiple times for cystic acne when I was in my teens, (turns out the acne was my body expressing an intolerance to cow’s milk, which has completely resolved by eliminating that from my diet).

 

My wife and I already have a clean lifestyle and make clean dietary choices, so it was nice to work with someone who shares the same mindset on lifestyle and understands the challenges of encountering unhealthy temptations.
