Anna Shadid is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who specializes in digestive wellness and gut health. Anna’s coaching business focuses on women who are health conscious and proactive, but still suffer from the unpleasant effects of gut dysfunction, including but not limited to poor digestion, hormonal imbalance, skin issues, anxiety, depression, fatigue, allergies, insomnia and brain fog. Anna’s work allows her clients ranging from teachers, chefs, comedians, law officials and medical professionals to overcome issues such as candida, eliminate chronic bloating, control Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), manage stress, establish healthy thoughts and achieve glowing skin. Her health coaching encompasses a comprehensive review of her clients’ health history, setting manageable goals, and creating an accountability system to examine and review these goals on an ongoing monthly basis.


As a part of Anna’s integrative approach to wellness, she makes health effortless for her clients, supporting them in discovering their unique diet and lifestyle blueprint, as there is no one-size fits all approach.  She supports her client’s in reclaiming their power to get truly healthy by attacking and eliminating their health issues at the root. She teaches them how to activate and support their body’s detoxification systems and organs, while using food for fuel.


A huge focus of Anna’s is the role stress and stress management have on gut health and wellness for women. As someone who worked in the corporate world for 8 years, Anna realizes that many health issues arise as a result of stress. Her methods focus on what foods can be utilized to reduce stress, eliminating foods that cause stress, as well as breathing techniques, financial wellness practices and self-care.


Coming from a culturally rich background where food is celebrated, Anna has a deep appreciation for a variety of fare and the positive impact it can have on human life. She has also seen how delicate life can be, and the ramifications of a poor diet. Having lost family and friends that were close to her, she is committed to taking control of her own health. Anna encourages clients to experiment with their diet and teaches that sometimes reverting to a “healthy” diet is not enough; organic food can still negatively affect gut health if eaten in the wrong combination, frequency and quantity.


Anna overcame candida, as well as consistent sugar cravings, food addiction and food sensitivities. Since becoming more in tune with her body, and the bodies of her clients, Anna has been able to use food to literally change and save peoples’ lives, one gut at a time.
